Sabaidee (Hello) Laos!

In order to get to Luang Prabang, Laos, our choices were the following:

A. 15 hour bus ride through the mountains.  Bus quality unknown.

B.  2 day slow boat ride down the Mekong.  Bathroom quality unknown.

C.  6 hour fast boat down the Mekong; helmets required. Survivability unknown.

D.  45 minute plane ride on Laos Airlines; ham and cheese baguette included.  Quality of airline unknown.

Bonus:  The plane drops you off at the front door of customs!
