108 Bowls at the Reclining Buddha

On the backside of the Reclining Buddha there are 108 metal bowls lining the wall. People drop coins into each bowl as an offering and prayer for the Buddha. The cacophony of coins being dropped into the bowls creates a sound similar to rain.
