A glimpse of the town.

Luang Prabang is a beautiful, quaint town.  Because Laos was a French colony from 1893 to 1949, the French influence is very apparent in the architecture and food.  Baguettes, crepes, and delicious coffee can be found on every corner.  It has been a lovely break from rice and tea.

(It costs 2000 Kip for foreigners to cross the bridge.)
