Reclining Buddha

The Reclining Buddha at Wat Pho is an wondrous sight to experience. After removing our shoes, we were thrown into a mass of people entering the temple. The scale of the Reclining Buddha cannot be accurately depicted in photographs. No matter where you are in the temple you can never see the entire Buddha. Instead you have to admire all the different parts of the Buddha separately.

While at the temple we found a large group of people burning incense and putting gold foil on different statues of Buddha.
